Science Fair and Night will be on Wednesday, April 9th from 5-7PM for all Pennekamp students and families. Projects by our 4th (optional) and 5th graders will be on display in the cafeteria. Students can dip their hands into marine science via Roundhouse Aquarium’s mobile teaching stations. There will be fun-filled live experiment booths i.e. Science of Dry Ice, Mad Science Putty, and Chemical Reactions just to name a few. Finally, check out 3D printing displays of engineering design or exciting glass blowing demonstrations (5:15 PM and 6PM) guaranteed to dazzle minds!
Please note booth activities will run until 6:30PM, when Science Fair winner announcements begin.
Science Fair presentations to the judges will take place the morning of Wednesday April 9th. Participating 4th graders and all 5th graders should bring their Science Fair Projects or Inventions to the cafeteria the day before on Tuesday morning April 8th in preparation. We can’t wait to see what the students have been working on!
Please consider volunteering at Science Night, we’d love your help!
