Calling all Pennekamp performers!

We are excited to bring back another incredible Pennekamp Talent Show this year—featuring an amazing lineup of PK performers! We are very grateful for the opportunity to host our show at Mira Costa Auditorium, and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping make this event a success.

🎭 Participation Guidelines

• Talent Show Interest Form:

• Eligibility:
  
  
• Grades 1–5 may participate in individual acts (due to time constraints).
  
  
• Kindergarten students will open the show with the Pledge and PK Song, but will not perform individual acts.
  
  
• Time Limits:
  
  
• Acts must be 1:00–1:30 minutes in length.
  
  
• Suggested length: 1:15.
  
  
• Music and lights will be turned off at 1:30—this is a hard stop.
  
  
• Music Requirements:
  
  
• Music must be submitted in MP3 format.
• Music lyrics must be clean and appropriate for an elementary school audience.
  
  
• Video Auditions:
  
  
• Video auditions are required and must be submitted by April 17th.
  
  

🎬 Auditions

• Submit a video of your act by April 17th using this LINK (coming soon).
  
  
• After submitting your video, you will receive a confirmation email with a SignUpGenius link to schedule an in-person audition on one of the following dates:
  
  
• Monday, April 20th
  
  
• Tuesday, April 28th
  
  
• In-person auditions will be held after school in the PK Cafeteria.
  
  

🎵 Music Submission

• Final (cut) music must be submitted no later than
  Friday, May 21st.
  
  
• Submit cut music using this LINK (coming soon).
  
  

🙋‍♀️ Volunteer Opportunities

• Want the first pick of seating? Volunteers have access to the auditorium first and are allowed to save seats. SignUpGenius coming soon!

One option is to:

2. Use iMovie to trim the track to 1:15, adding a fade-in and fade-out at the beginning and end.
